Ideal charge a £50 refundable holding fees per applicant, which enables us to carry out employers references, landlord references, identification checks and credit checks. If successful we will return your holding fee and then obtain a bond which is placed into The Bond Deposit Protection Scheme DPS, Ideal has Client money protection (CMP) All deposits are protected.
On your move in day, your first months’ rent and bond is payable either by cash or bank transfer. An inventory on your new home is completed and discussed with you along with the tenancy agreement and key hand over procedures. All copies to be retained. Any maintenance required, needs to be reported to Ideal at your earliest convenience. Team work is the key.

THE PROPERTY OMBUDSMAN SCHEME
Ideal are also members of The Property Ombudsman scheme and subscribe to This Code of Practice for Letting Agents. Copies of the code of Practice and the TPO consumer Guide is available at our office or at your request. Ideal maintain and operate an in-house complaints procedure which explain how to complain to us and to the ombudsman. These are readily available at our office for consumers.
